“Oshún and the Moon” Book Launch
English/EN: The book, “Oshún and the Moon,” authored and illustrated by Sophia Tupuola and Ruta Lauleva Lua’iufi Aiono, will have a book launch at The Hub! In collaboration with M.A.N.A. Pasefika, a Pacific Islander Doula organization under the Pasifika Urban Roots Collaborative with the Samoan Community Development Center, this book reinforces an effort to deepen the Pasifika identity in the Oceania diaspora through storytelling and reinforcement of positive imagery of the Black and Brown body.
